Operations Manager

We are partnering with a leading manufacturer in the commercial building products space that is looking for an Operations Manager for its manufacturing facility in the Wake Forest area . The purpose of this position is to lead overall plant operations, drive operational and financial performance, and develop the leadership team while ensuring the facility meets its goals for safety, quality, production, and profitability.

What You'll Do:
• Lead overall plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and shipping and receiving.
• Own the facility P&L and ensure financial and operational goals are achieved.
• Drive improvements in plant performance, productivity, quality, labor utilization, and operating costs.
• Lead, develop, and provide direction to plant leadership and other key members of the management team.
• Oversee capital and operating expenditures while controlling overtime, freight, repair, and other operating expenses.
• Ensure a strong safety culture and compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and overall plant performance.
What You'll Need:
• Significant leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement and implementing lean tools or driving OTD.
• Experience managing a plant or business unit with P&L responsibility. xhyhwjd
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, financial performance, and continuous improvement/Lean manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate a diverse workforce
