Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, and report defects to the development team, to facilitate enhancement of software performance Support the integration of new software features, facilitating smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repositoryYour contribution to the team: An agile mindset with effective communication and problem-solving skills. The role will focus on production monitoring, incident resolution, ETL and batch troubleshooting, data validation, operational stability, and coordination across application, database, infrastructure, ETL, and business teams.• Provide L2/L3 production support for enterprise ETL, data-processing, and batch applications.• Monitor Informatica PowerCenter/IICS mappings, sessions, workflows, tasks, and data loads; analyze logs and coordinate recovery for failed or delayed jobs.• Monitor Autosys schedules and dependencies, perform approved reruns/recovery activities, and ensure critical batch processing completes within SLA.• Use Oracle SQL/PLSQL to investigate data issues, validate source-to-target data, reconcile record counts, and identify missing, duplicate, or incorrect records.• Perform Unix/Linux production-support activities such as log analysis, file validation, process monitoring, and shell-based troubleshooting.• Support AWS-based processing, including S3 file/data movement and CloudWatch monitoring and alert investigation.Additional Required Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
