Trade License Qualifier Position

A multi‑site facility management company dedicated to providing management services for commercial buildings throughout North Carolina, focusing on maintenance. Thanks to our extensive base of highly skilled technicians and service provider partners, we are able to service our clients all over the state of North Carolina and the neighboring states, ensuring consistent quality and efficient resource utilization and ultimately creating an environment where tenants feel valued and can focus on their core business. We are seeking a motivated Responsible License Qualifier to join our team. This position is crucial in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements about company licensing. The incumbent will qualify the company they work for and the work performed by the company’s team of technicians and partners for local, state, and federal licensing requirements. This role does not restrict the individual from using their license for personal reasons, such as side work. This is an excellent opportunity for any licensed electrician, plumber, HVAC, or general contractor to utilize their unused license. Responsibilities Maintain electrician, plumber, or HVAC contractor licenses with the California Contractors State License Board Pass required training and examinations to obtain certifications and licenses Possess knowledge and understanding of the multi‑site facility management industry Have expertise in managing commercial and residential projects Be familiar with state requirements for license application, renewal, and licensing changes Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local laws Partner with finance and accounting teams regarding invoicing and payments to ensure accurate and timely license applications and renewals Track licensing due dates and timelines for applications, license changes, and renewals with strong attention to detail Communicate effectively and work with local and state licensing organizations to secure required company licenses Build trusted relationships with senior executives and functional leadership Promote a positive company image by working closely with industry, business, and community partners Qualifications and Experience Demonstrated experience in construction, telecommunications, cable, or related fields 5–10 years of industry experience Results‑driven with the ability to work independently to fulfill business needs Intellectual agility: adept at seeking input, making connections, and recognizing patterns that support effective decision‑making Valid license number Proficiency in Excel, including modeling and data analytics Organized, efficient, and resourceful team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment Capable of operating effectively within matrix organizations and government entities Strong initiative, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and willing to step outside one’s comfort zone Personal Attributes Sharp intellect and a growth mindset Eagerness to contribute to building a best‑in‑class company Well‑developed influencing skills with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal #J-18808-Ljbffr Internal Test Page
