Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity

Methodist Healthcare System is recruiting skilled and dedicated emergency medicine physicians to join our collegial team at Methodist ER Legacy Trails in San Antonio, Texas.

Qualified Candidates:

• Must be board certified/board eligible in emergency medicine (MD or DO) and emergency medicine residency-trained
• Possess strong communication skills
• Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills

Incentive/Position Details:

• 24 hours of physician coverage
• Physician shift times: 6a-6p, 6p-6a
• 12 hours of advanced practice provider coverage
• 1099 position - up to 120 hours available
• Meditech EMR

Methodist ER Legacy Trails and Methodist Healthcare System:

• Full-service radiology, laboratory, and telemetry
• Benefits of immediate intervention for serious emergencies where treatment time is critical
• 24-hour monitoring and testing of patients, such as chest pain cases
• Stabilize critical patients and transport, should they need hospitalization, to a Methodist hospital in San Antonio
