Production Specialist

Produce, direct, film, and edit live and recorded high quality multimedia content including live broadcasts, talent visits, patient interviews, and pre-recorded programming for the Seacrest Studio and internal CCTV channels. Operate and maintain studio equipment including cameras, audio boards, switchers, microphones, lighting, and broadcast systems. Create and manage digital assets including graphics, music, and animations to support multimedia content. Ensure adherence to brand standards and high production quality across all visual and audio projects. Collaborate with hospital departments and community partners to develop creative content and campaigns that reflect the hospital’s mission and patient-centered values. Research new trends, technologies, and broadcast methods to continually evolve the studio’s creative and technical capabilities. Patient & Family Experience Leads the design and delivery of engaging programming for diverse patient ages, abilities, and interests. Facilitate interactive programming that promotes engagement, creativity, and emotional well-being for patients and families. Provide emotional support, information, and entertainment to patients and families through daily programming. Encourage participation in studio activities that build community and normalize the hospital experience. Supervise and mentor interns and volunteers in A/V and live-production tasks. Support strategic planning and execution of A/V services for Seacrest Studio initiatives. Maintain and organize studio inventory, files, and digital archives. Participate in continuous improvement through professional development and cross-training. Represent the hospital and Seacrest Studio positively in all public and media interactions. Education Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Broadcast Journalism, Communications, Media Production, or related field Experience Qualifications Required: 2–5 years of experience in broadcast, film, or multimedia production; experience working with children or in hospital/family-centered settings Preferred: Experience in live studio or field production, talent coordination, and post-production editing; bilingual in English/Spanish Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Advanced proficiency in multimedia production including camera operation, lighting, audio engineering, and live broadcast switching. Expertise in editing and creative software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva or Avid Pro Tools. Skilled in scriptwriting, storyboarding, and visual storytelling for live and recorded segments. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with diverse audiences including patients, families, staff, and community partners. Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills. Knowledge of broadcast systems (e.g., VMix, SAS consoles, ENCO) preferred. Ability to maintain professionalism, empathy, and composure in high-energy or emotionally sensitive environments. Demonstrated commitment to inclusion, creativity, and teamwork.
