Radiology - X-ray Tech

X-Ray Technologist

The role encompasses performing general X-ray imaging procedures. Experience with operating and maintaining X-ray equipment is necessary. Technologists will be required to perform outpatient exams and support in portable imaging as needed. The department is equipped with three X-ray rooms and five portable machines. The position may require floating to another area if needed. Technologists will work a 12-hour night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, Tuesday through Thursday, with additional call and weekend requirements. All scrubs must be royal blue or provided by the facility. Radiologists are available on-site to assist as needed. This position does not involve starting IVs and does not require the use of Registered Radiology Assistants. Call response times will be adhered to as per the departmental guidelines. Candidates should have experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic, and should be knowledgeable in PACS. Clients reserve the right to cancel shifts as per the outlined cancellation policy.
