Job Title: Junior Cyber Security Engineer – Identity & Access Management (IAM) – US Citizens Only apply Location: Iselin, NJ (Hybrid / Onsite preferred) Salary: $45,000 per year Benefits: Health Insurance, 2 Weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) annually About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cyber Security Engineer – IAM to join our growing security team. This is an entry-level role designed for recent graduates or early‑career professionals who want to build a strong foundation in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and cybersecurity. You will work alongside senior engineers and architects to support enterprise IAM platforms, helping secure user identities, applications, and digital access across cloud and on‑prem environments. Key Responsibilities Assist in implementing and supporting IAM solutions (SSO, MFA, user provisioning). Support onboarding/offboarding of users across systems. Monitor access logs and help investigate security incidents. Assist with application integrations using SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect. Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps. Participate in security audits and compliance activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field. Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts. Familiarity with Active Directory or LDAP. Basic networking (TCP/IP, Willingness to learn enterprise IAM platforms. Preferred / Nice to Have Exposure to IAM tools like SAML, OAuth2, OIDC. Any internship, lab work, or hands‑on projects in cybersecurity. What You’ll Learn Real‑world IAM architecture and deployments. Enterprise security best practices. Cloud and API security. Compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST). How large organizations manage digital identity at scale.
