Pay: $25.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift - Flexible Scheduling

Associated Staffing is hiring an experienced Tool Maker for a manufacturing company in Hastings, NE. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist with CNC programming, tool and die and precision machining experience.

Flexible Schedule

This position offers flexibility within 6:00 AM-5:00 PM. Scheduling options can include:

• Four 10-hour shifts
• Five 8-hour shifts
• Other schedules within the available hours may be considered
• Specific hours can be discussed during the interview

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, 3D models, technical drawings and specifications
• Program, set up and operate CNC mills, lathes and other machine tools
• Fabricate, modify, repair and maintain molds, dies, fixtures and other manufacturing tooling
• Troubleshoot tooling and mold issues while minimizing production downtime
• Identify and resolve problems involving product design, materials and manufacturing processes
• Perform precision machining and grinding
• Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, indicators and height gauges
• Participate in design reviews for new tooling
• Assist Tool Shop and Production personnel with projects as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, 3D models and technical drawings
• CNC programming, setup and operation experience
• Strong experience with SolidWorks and CAMWorks
• Precision machining and grinding experience
• Tool and die fabrication and repair experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Advanced Manufacturing Design Technology (AMDT) or a related field preferred; relevant hands-on experience may be considered in place of a degree
• Experience in rubber manufacturing is a plus
