Shift Details:

• Wednesdays and Thursdays, 07.30am -5.30pm

Dental Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms, dental instruments, equipment, and materials before procedures.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and maintain proper infection control standards.
• Take and process dental X-rays as permitted by applicable state regulations.
• Prepare patients for treatment and explain procedures to help ensure comfort and understanding.
• Provide chairside assistance, including instrument transfer, suctioning, and preparation of dental materials.
• Record patient medical and dental histories, treatment information, and clinical notes accurately.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive dental practices.
• Monitor and maintain dental supplies, equipment, and inventory.
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and facility policies and procedures.
• Assist with scheduling, patient records, and other administrative duties as needed.
• Provide professional, compassionate, and patient-centered support while promoting safety and quality dental care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted CO license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1 year/s of recent experience as a Dental Assistant within the last 3 years .
• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,...)
