Job Duties Class A Local Harbor Drivers to pull containers out of the Ports of Long Beach & Los Angeles. Positions are no-touch freight. Driver will safely transport container loads from the ports back to the yard. Driver will be required to perform Pre/Post inspections on equipment and adhere to and follow all DOT regulations. Driving Requirements Valid CDL-A license DOT Medical Card FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years) Minimum 1 year of harbor/port driving experience within the last 3 years Valid TWIC card required Hazmat endorsement is a plus but not required No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years) No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years) Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) plan and more Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Holiday Pay is provided for eligible Drivers Weekly Pay Staffmark Perkspot – discounts on almost anything you want to buy What You Will Do As a Class A Port Truck Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.
