Find your next opportunity today!Description of WorkThe Health Care Technician I will provide facilitative services and quality care for the welfare, safety and security of individuals at Cherry Hospital. Work involves providing ongoing observation, interaction, and feedback to individuals under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Work also involves working with the interdisciplinary/treatment team and providing input on each individual’s care and condition. Work involves ongoing contact with individuals who may be diagnosed with a wide spectrum of psychiatric and/or developmental conditions that may include unpredictable behaviors, maladaptive, and aggressive behaviors. HCT I’s implement specific interventions identified in the individual’s comprehensive treatment plan.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management PreferencesSalary Range: $35,360 - $38,688Recruitment Range: $31,200 - $44,261*A Limited Sign-on bonus of $15,000 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting who applies between June 1st - August 31st, 2026, contingent on the 2025-2026 Budget Approval.CNA's (Nursing Department Only)Total $15,000Receive $4,000 in 1st paycheck following start date.Receive $5,000 after 12 consecutive months.Receive $6,000 after 18 consecutive months.Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required.
