Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license-compact license accepted if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Cath Lab nursing
• Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac catheterization procedures, including patient prep, monitoring, and post-procedure care
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Solid understanding of cardiac pharmacology and emergency interventions
• Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and maintain meticulous documentation
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Schedule/Hours:

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Administer and monitor medications according to protocol and physician orders
• Prepare, position, and educate patients before, during, and after procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment
• Respond to emergencies efficiently, providing rapid assessment and intervention as needed
• Work closely with physicians, technologists, and other nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately maintain and update patient records and procedural documentation
