About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Rehabilitation Therapy Specialty: Physical Therapist Duration: 12 months Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8am-5pm Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Valid and unrestricted physical therapy license in any state within the United States, District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association. Must-Have: Outpatient experience. Description: The Physical Therapist position serves to provide quality physical therapy services for the treatment or prevention of physical disability or disease. Responsible for management and implementation of physical therapy programs. Provision of physical therapy evaluation and treatment of inpatients and outpatients, ages ranging from birth through geriatric. Provision of specialty services such as wound care, prosthetic and orthotic clinic, geriatric clinic, high school clinic, functional clinic, spinal cord clinic, assistive technology/adaptive equipment evaluation/treatment, Durable Medical Equipment Prosthetic Orthotic Supply Program. Assumes direction and development of the physical therapy section. Includes continuing quality improvement, risk management and safety, physical therapy policies and procedures, preparation for Joint Commission, staff education, reporting, staff meetings, in-service, and other duties.
