Automotive Technician

We are seeking a dependable Automotive Technician to perform vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs in a fast‑paced dealership service department. What You’ll Do Perform routine maintenance and vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders. Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns using electronic diagnostic tools. Repair and maintain vehicle systems including but not limited to engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and air conditioning. Test drive vehicles and verify repairs to ensure safety and performance standards are met. Complete warranty and non‑warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. Communicate repair findings and estimated completion times with service advisors. Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work environment. Stay current on updated repair procedures and new vehicle technology. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record General automotive repair and diagnostic knowledge Ability to safely use shop tools and electronic diagnostic equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Prior experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or repair shop Preferred ASE certifications or OEM training Experience with diagnostics, electrical systems, or other driving concerns Willingness to continue training and skill development Pay & Benefits Compensation $25.00-$50.00 per flat rate hour Compensation is based on experience, skills, and certifications and is negotiable.
