YARD WORKER & FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Job Details Job Location: Bellevue Main Office - Bellevue, WA 98005 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School/ GED Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Position Description In this position, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to safely and efficiently load and unload Mutual Materials products and hardscape materials, including loading company trucks as well as customer vehicles. As this is a customer-facing role, providing exceptional service is essential to maintaining and promoting positive customer relationships. While forklift operation will be your primary duty, you may also be required to hand‑load customer vehicles as needed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the yard, managing inventory, breaking down pallets, and handling shipping and receiving documentation. This position requires outdoor work and is subject to all weather conditions. On‑the‑job training will be provided to all new hires by experienced Mutual Materials employees. This is a full‑time job, Monday‑Friday, with overtime when necessary. Knowledge & Skill Requirements Similar or related work experience in the building materials industry is preferred. The qualified candidate will have great customer service skills and a positive attitude. Ability to work both independently and as a member of a fast‑paced distribution team. Physical capacity to lift 90+ pounds on an occasional basis and be on your feet for most of the day; bending, twisting, and lifting are essential for this position. OSHA certified forklift certification/experience is preferred. Previous experience with masonry products, stone, and/or construction practices is a plus. Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
