Assistant Manager

Position: Assistant Manager – Evening Shift Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Shift: Evening / Closing Shift Job Type: Full-time Position Overview Sedona Staffing is hiring for a dedicated Assistant Manager – Evening Shift to oversee restaurant operations, team leadership, and nightly closing procedures for a high-volume fast-food location. Working closely with the Store Managers, you will guide the crew, maintain high standards for food quality and customer service, and ensure safe, efficient shift operations. Key Responsibilities Shift Leadership & Management: Lead and motivate crew members during the evening shift to ensure smooth service, proper task delegation, and efficient workflow. Closing Procedures & Cash Management: Oversee end-of-day register reconciliation, perform safe counts, balance shift drawers, and ensure secure closing of the building. Customer Service Excellence: Handle escalated customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and maintain a welcoming environment. Food Safety & Quality Control: Enforce food preparation standards, temperature checks, equipment sanitation, and strict health/safety compliance. Inventory & Waste Control: Monitor nightly inventory usage, manage product restocking, and track product waste. Training & Mentorship: Coach and train new and existing Crew Members on POS operation, food/treat assembly, safety protocols, and company policies. Problem Solving: Resolve operational bottlenecks, equipment issues, or staffing challenges quickly during peak dinner and late-night rushes. Qualifications 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in fast food, restaurant, or retail management. Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Proven ability to handle cash operations and closing management tasks accurately. ServSafe or local food handler certification preferred (or willing to obtain). High reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work evening, weekend, and holiday closing shifts. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
