Mancan is working with a restaurant in Walnut Creek seeking a server. This is a temp to hire opportunity. Hours vary and may include evenings, Saturdays, and holidays. Pay starts at $11 during the temp period and switches to $5.50/hour plus tips when hired permanently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to all restaurant guests
- Take beverage and meal orders from guests
- Answer questions about the menu and make suggestions
- Enter orders into the computer
- Garnish dishes
- Serve food and beverages
- Inform guests about the bakery, gift shop, and local attractions
- Use software to process orders and create guest checks
- Process cash and credit/debit card payments

Qualifications:
- Prior experience preferred but not required
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and move 15-30 pounds
- ServSafe certification preferred, but training will be provided if necessary
