Technical Project Manager

Contract Type: W2 Only Duration: 12+ Months Location: Pleasanton, CA (Onsite) Pay Range: $90 - $93 on W2 Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives from planning through successful delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams, coordinating technical and business stakeholders, driving project governance, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. This role requires expertise in project planning, risk management, resource coordination, vendor management, and Agile project execution within a fast-paced enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical projects, managing scope, schedules, milestones, budgets, resources, and overall project execution. Develop and maintain detailed project plans while proactively managing risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery. Coordinate cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to drive collaboration and alignment across project workstreams. Monitor project health, resource utilization, forecasts, quality standards, and project deliverables while providing regular status reports to leadership. Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder communications, and executive updates, ensuring clear communication between technical and non-technical teams. Drive continuous improvement of project management processes, governance, tools, and methodologies to enhance delivery efficiency and project outcomes. Must-have Skills 7+ years of experience managing complex technical projects from initiation through successful delivery. Strong experience leading cross-functional teams, stakeholder management, project planning, risk management, and resource coordination. Proficiency with Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar project management tools. Excellent communication, problem-solving, vendor management, and project governance skills with experience delivering enterprise-scale technology programs. Nice-to-have Skills Experience delivering projects using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in large enterprise environments. PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certification. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience driving continuous process improvement, project governance, and enterprise technology transformation initiatives.
