Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM (or potentially earlier shift with normal workday hours)
• Daily caseload of 25-40 patients
• Weekend coverage only required under certain conditions (inclement weather, etc.)
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required, but CT/SIM experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required (2+ years preferred)
• Must be able to operate linear accelerator with CT experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(T), SCRQSA
• Experience with Aria, Vision RT, and Align RT systems required
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Dress code: Black pants with teal top or all black
• Charting done on both paper and digital systems
• Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Travel experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Locals within 60-mile radius not accepted
• All RTO must be included at time of submission
• Block schedule accommodation possible with prior approval (not guaranteed)
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
