Role Overview
As a Cell Biologist, you will leverage your expertise to contribute to the training of next-generation AI systems. Your role will be pivotal in shaping how models learn, reason, and perform by providing high-quality, real-world biological input. No prior experience in AI is necessary; your domain knowledge is the key asset.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute experiments utilizing mammalian cell culture and transfection techniques.
- Isolate and establish clonal cell lines while monitoring cellular phenotypes.
- Investigate the structure, organization, and function of cells and organelles.
- Assess and document sources of experimental variability across various model systems.
- Develop and optimize experimental protocols to ensure reproducibility and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with AI training teams to translate biological insights into high-quality datasets.
- Communicate scientific findings effectively through well-structured written and verbal reports.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Cell Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on laboratory experience with mammalian cell culture.
- Proficiency in transfection methods and clonal isolation techniques.
- Expert understanding of experimental systems and variability across biological models.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing clarity and detail.
- High level of organizational and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and remotely within a cross-functional team.
- Experience with rubcris or similar gene editing platforms.
- Previous involvement in projects for AI training or data labeling.
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a relevant field.
