About the Position An established FQHC in Los Angeles is seeking a Family Medicine Physician Associate for locum tenens coverage. The position is full‑time, Monday through Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with a 40‑hour workweek and a daily patient load of 18–22 patients. Responsibilities Provide typical outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages, including chronic and acute condition management, physical examinations, wellness checks, and vaccinations. Schedule and Assignment Dates needed: August ongoing – 3 month with extension. Call ratio: 1:8. Shift type: Day shift. Assignment type: Outpatient locums. Call required: Negotiable. Qualifications Board certified. Prescriptive authority required. Experience in family medicine or related field. Benefits Paid malpractice insurance (A++). Paid housing and travel.
