We are seeking an experienced and driven  Lead HVAC Technician to take charge of our field operations team. This hands-on role is responsible for leading the installation of new HVAC systems, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and performing routine maintenance. The ideal candidate is a skilled technician with strong leadership abilities who can guide and develop a team while ensuring top-quality work and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee a team of HVAC technicians and helpers during job assignments
• Install, diagnose, service, and repair HVAC systems (residential and/or commercial)
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity
• Provide on-the-job training, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with code and manufacturer specifications
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide updates and resolve issues
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and contribute to team development

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; HVAC technical certification or degree preferred
• 5+ years of HVAC experience, including installation, diagnostics, and maintenance
• 1+ years of team leadership or crew supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and diagnostic techniques
• EPA 608 Certification required; NATE certification a plus
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied environments (attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, etc.)
• Clean background and drug screen
• Willing to travel and stay overnight when necessary
