Electrical Engineer (Licensed)

This hybrid position (3 days in office, up to 2 days remote) is available in either our Biddeford, Maine or Portsmouth New Hampshire office. Responsibilities Design of power, lighting, communication and electronic security systems Collaboration with other engineers, architects, interior designers and landscape architects to develop creative design solutions Typical designs include one-line diagrams, conduit and wire sizing, panelboard schedules, device and fixture layouts, lighting calculations and preparation of specifications and cost estimates Construction Administration including review of submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs as well as site inspections Qualifications Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET) degree from an accredited university, preferably with a power or building sciences component 5-8 Years of experience License in Maine or New Hampshire or the ability to obtain through reciprocity Strong writing and communication skills Experience with Autodesk Revit and AutoCad, Microsoft Word and Excel Interest in designing electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and government buildings and facilities Oak Point Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer Please send a resume and cover letter to View email address on click.appcast.io with the subject line “Electrical Engineer Position”.
