Parent Education Bridge for Student Achievement Foundation

PEBSAF Family Academy: Empowering Parents, Nurturing Success

Driven by a deep commitment to community service and quality parent education, PEBSAF Family Academy emerged in 2007, founded by a dedicated group of parents, educators, and school counselors. Recognizing the profound impact of parental involvement in a child's educational journey, PEBSAF has made it its mission to bridge the gap between home and school, empowering parents with the knowledge and skills they need to actively support their children's learning. Inspired by the groundbreaking work of Joyce Epstein, a renowned expert in family engagement, PEBSAF's comprehensive virtual parent workshops provide a wealth of resources and guidance on a wide range of topics, from effective communication strategies to homework support and navigating the school curriculum. Through interactive and engaging sessions, PEBSAF has transformed the lives of thousands of families across the United States, empowering them to play an integral role in their children's academic success. Research has consistently demonstrated the positive correlation between parental involvement and student achievement. A study based on data from the National Educational Longitudinal Study involving over 10,000 12th graders revealed that students whose parents actively promoted academic achievement scored significantly better on standardized tests. These involved parents engaged in regular communication with teachers, attended school events, and discussed academic progress with their children. The impact of parental involvement far outweighed other social factors at school, such as extracurricular activities, school climate, and teacher morale. PEBSAF understands the financial constraints faced by schools and offers a cost-effective flat-fee-for-service model, eliminating hidden costs and budget overruns. This commitment to affordability, coupled with the avoidance of per-parent charges or unnecessary annual licenses, ensures that PEBSAF's programs are accessible to all, regardless of school size or budget. Whether your school seeks a single workshop or a comprehensive series, PEBSAF Family Academy is ready to collaborate with you, tailoring our programs to meet your specific needs and budget. Our team of experienced educators is dedicated to providing the highest quality parent education, empowering families and transforming schools into thriving learning environments where every child can reach their full potential.
