Dean of Students The Global Learning Charter Public School is currently seeking a committed and dynamic individual to serve as an educational leader in our school. We are seeking a highly motivated, exceptional, results‑oriented professional who is committed to high standards of performance and achievement by both students and educators. The Dean of Students, under the direct supervision of the school Principal and in cooperation with the Vice Principal and Director of School Culture, provides general assistance in a wide variety of school administrative functions, including, but not limited to, student behavior management, classroom support, building management, and developing school culture. This position will serve all grades 5‑12. Responsibilities Serve as a resource for teachers regarding student achievement, attendance, behavior, and other needs. Provide supplemental support in areas that inhibit student achievement, including student discipline and attendance issues. Communicate regularly and maintain a positive relationship with GLCPS families. Assist with maintaining a safe and secure campus. Work with the school community to promote a positive school image. Work in collaboration with and support the MTSS team. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s Degree. Hold, or have the ability to obtain within two years of employment, a Massachusetts provisional or higher school principal/assistant principal administrative licensure. At least three years of school‑based experience (classroom, administrative, etc.). Experience working with low‑income populations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working with both teachers and students across multiple grade levels. Preferred: Experience working in a charter school. At least three years of relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
