Seasonal CDL-A In-Plant Driver (2nd Shift) | $20/hr + OT | Home Daily
DHT Group is seeking dependable CDL-A Drivers for our seasonal in-plant sugar beet transfer operation in Sebewaing, Michigan. Schedule
- 12-Hour PM Shifts
- 35 shifts per week based on operational needs
- Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays as required by customer and company needs
- Additional hours may be available during peak harvest periods
What You'll Do
- Safely transport sugar beets within a customer production facility using commercial vehicles
- Load, haul, and unload product safely and efficiently
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely
- Maintain accurate logs and required documentation
- Report equipment issues promptly
- Work closely with plant personnel and fellow drivers
- Represent DHT professionally at all times
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to pass a DOT Physical
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screening
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Commitment to safe and professional operation
Preferred Qualifications
- Dump trailer experience
- T-Endorsement
- Agricultural hauling experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Ability to climb, bend, and enter/exit equipment safely
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions throughout the season
