Job Title: Electrical/Electronic/Electromechanical Assembler (Assembly Solder Technician III)
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034
Job Type: Full-Time Contract (12 Months-Possible temp to perm for right candidate)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | First Shift | 5/40 Schedule
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

What You'll DoElectronic Assembly & Repair

• Assemble and repair a wide variety of electronic units using approved repair procedures and techniques.

• Identify and select the correct parts, wires, components, and materials needed for assembly and repair activities.

• Remove defective or suspect components and install replacement parts with precision and accuracy.

Precision Soldering

• Perform soldering and rework using industry-standard tools and methods.

• Ensure electronic assemblies meet quality, workmanship, and performance requirements.

• Support troubleshooting and repair efforts through detailed component-level work.

Technical Operations

• Operate assembly equipment and production machinery safely and effectively.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, component maintenance manuals, and assembly instructions.

• Measure, mix, and apply chemicals, coatings, and adhesives according to established procedures.

Documentation & Communication

• Accurately document completed work and maintain detailed production and repair records.

• Communicate project status, issues, and updates to team members and support personnel.

• Utilize computer systems and office applications to track work and complete required documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, electronic, electromechanical, or solder assembly environments.

• Demonstrated ability to perform precision soldering and component replacement.

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, engineering drawings, schematics, and repair instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with office software applications.

• Ability to follow safety procedures and established manufacturing processes.

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, electronics repair, or maintenance operations.

• IPC soldering certification or comparable electronics assembly training.

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic assemblies.

• Familiarity with component-level repair techniques.

• Experience working in regulated or quality-driven production environments.

Work Environment

This role offers hands-on technical work in a dynamic aviation maintenance and repair setting. Team members may occasionally support weekend or holiday operations to meet customer requirements.

You may be exposed to:

• Products of varying sizes and weights

• Assembly equipment with moving parts

• Chemicals, adhesives, and materials that may emit fumes

• Precision electronic components requiring static-control procedures

To ensure personal and product safety, employees are required to wear appropriate static-control and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Physical Requirements

To successfully perform this role, candidates should be able to:

• Distinguish colors and meet visual inspection requirements.

• Sit or stand at workstations for extended periods.

• Perform fine hand movements, grasping, twisting, holding, and component manipulation.

• Bend, stoop, reach, and turn while handling products and equipment.

• Lift and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.

• Transport products using carts or other approved equipment when necessary.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
