HOW WILL YOU MAKE AM IMPACT IN THIS ROLE? You will promote CPLC NMand its mission and programs throughout the State as required/requested. You will providesupport, coordination and supervision of staff. You will ensure staff accountability, productivity, policy compliance and best practice on specifically assigned programs/projects. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management, including conducting one-on-one supervision, staffing, and corrective action as needed. Participate in selection, hiring, onboarding, training, development, and performance evaluations. Give input regarding promotions, disciplinary actions, and employment status changes in partnership with leadership and human resources. Monitor workload distribution and ensures equitable workload management. Ensure staff compliance with policies, documentation requirements, and program timeframes SPECIALIZATIONS To plan, develop, and provide oversight of the Youthbuild program or organization. This includes raising program funds, stackable with the current awarded contract, developing strong community support and collaborative partnerships, maintaining effective linkages with other agencies, ensuring the quality and integration of all components, staff supervision, and working with the youth policy committee. Timely Quarterly and yearly reporting required by Department of Labor. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES Education/Background Equivalent combinations of training and experience, preferably equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences, planning or management, youth services or affordable housing. Strong leadership skills and at least five years’ successful management or planning experience, preferably in a community-based setting. Demonstrated skill in nonprofit fundraising and program development Experience in supervision, training, and evaluation of personnel is preferred Experience in working independently with excellent written and oral communication skills Must be capable of working with diverse cultural populations . Experience in budget development and fiscal management of an agency with a budget that exceeds$2million. Management style which promotes teamwork and participation by staff at all levels . Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines. Ability to manage multiple grants as needed for prosperous program outcomes Maintain YouthBuild USA Affiliation and corresponding reporting required by DOL Experience with AmeriCorps and/or AC Vista Must have access to reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance as required and be insurable under the company policy.
