Night Shift LPN and RN Opportunity at Riverwood Health and Rehabilitation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and compassionate Night Shift LPN and RN to join our team at Riverwood Health and Rehabilitation in Starke, Florida. As a Night Shift LPN and RN, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents, supervise day-to-day nursing activities, and ensure the highest quality of care is maintained at all times. Responsibilities:

• Direct the day-to-day functions of CNAs and other nursing personnel in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern our long-term care Facility

• Ensure that all assigned nursing personnel comply with written policies and procedures established by our Facility

• Provide discipline and evaluations of assigned CNAs and other nursing personnel in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines

• Provide verbal and written disciplinary warnings to assigned CNAs and other nursing personnel for violations of current rules, regulations, and guidelines

• Assist in planning the nursing services portion of the resident's discharge plan, as necessary

• Interpret the department's policies and procedures to personnel, residents, visitors, and government agencies, as required

• Perform administrative duties, such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and studies, and charting, as necessary

• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician

• Make rounds with physicians, as necessary

• Notify the resident's attending physician when the resident is involved in an accident or incident

• Notify the resident's attending physician and next-of-kin when there is a change in the resident's condition

Requirements:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)

• Ability to work night shifts

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
