Job Description
The Retail Sales Associate plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service through high customer interaction, supporting specialty product sales, and maintaining store standards. This position requires dedication to customer satisfaction and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection and inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of specialty products to provide informed recommendations
- Conduct sales transactions accurately and efficiently using cash handling procedures
- Replenish stock to ensure merchandise availability and organized display
- Deliver excellent customer service, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems during transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and store environment
- Work regularly scheduled evening and weekend shifts as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of effective sales techniques
- Proficiency in cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Problem-solving skills to address customer needs
