AI Solution ArchitectThe Opportunity:Design and implement effective AI solution architecture or strategy utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs while complying with the organization’s strategies and business goals and key ethical considerations. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.You Have:Experience integrating AI capabilities into business processes, workflows, or production software applicationsExperience with AI-assisted development tooling, including GitHub Copilot, Copilot CLI, Codex, or Claude CodeExperience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD, workflow automation, or pipeline orchestrationExperience developing in NodeJS, .NET, or SQLExperience designing scaffolding, harnesses, or orchestration layers that allow AI tools to operate reliably within an existing engineering or business environmentKnowledge of AI solution architecture patterns, including prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool calling, and agentic workflowsKnowledge of secure software development practices, version control, and code review processes in a team settingAbility to translate client business problems into implementable AI solution designs, work without considerable direction, develop innovative solutions to complex problems, and mentor or supervise team membersAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirementsBachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML integration, or solution architecture, or Master's degree and 3+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML integration, or solution architectureNice If You Have:Experience with Azure AI Foundry, including model deployment, evaluation, agent development, or content safety configurationExperience with agent frameworks and protocols, including Model Context Protocol (MCP), Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or AutoGenExperience with consulting or client-facing delivery in a federal or public sector environmentKnowledge of Azure cloud services, containerization, and infrastructure-as-codeKnowledge of AI governance and risk frameworks, including the NIST AI Risk Management FrameworkKnowledge of evaluation methods for AI-generated code and output quality, including benchmarking and regression testingAbility to lead technical workshops and communicate solution trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to assess AI tooling options and produce recommendations aligned to client budget, security posture, and mission goalsMaster's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related fieldMicrosoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102), Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GitHub Actions, or GitHub Copilot CertificationVetting:Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
