Details\n \n 19-bed Labor & Delivery unit \n 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week \n Patient ratios of 1:2 \n On-call requirement of 12 hours within a 6-week scheduling period \n Floating required, with travelers floated first, potentially to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility \n Uses Epic EMR \n Requirements\n \n Active FL or compact RN license required \n BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required \n AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course completion required \n AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course and EFM certification preferred \n Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required \n Prior travel nursing experience required \n Ability to manage high acuity patients required \n Nursing degree accreditation must be documented, or candidate must have 5 years of experience \n Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing \n Additional Information\n \n Care for high acuity L&D patients in a fast-paced unit \n Scrub colors required: Galaxy Blue and/or White \n Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility's permanent address, with strict enforcement including property ownership checks \n Candidates must be willing to secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting \n All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as facility will not approve RTO after submission \n Orientation begins on a Friday, with candidates required to be onsite for badge/ID even though orientation is remote \n Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documentation \n Travelers are expected to integrate fully with core staff and demonstrate flexibility and teamwork \n No block scheduling requests accepted \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID P-753557.
