Customer Service Representative – Manufacturing

Location: Selma, TX

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Primarily In-Office

Industry: Manufacturing / Semiconductor

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join a growing manufacturing organization in Selma, TX. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing customer accounts, purchase orders, shipments, and order-related issues in a fast-paced environment.

This role works closely with customers as well as internal Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and customers receive timely updates and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Process customer purchase orders received through email and customer portals.
• Enter and release orders, monitor production and shipment status, and assist with invoicing.
• Manage multiple customer accounts and respond promptly to questions and requests.
• Update customer required/need dates and communicate changes or delays.
• Troubleshoot order, shipping, quality, and customer-service issues.
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Quality departments.
• Provide timely order and shipment updates to customers.
• Prepare weekly reports for the sales team.
• Maintain a strong sense of urgency while managing multiple priorities.
• Perform additional customer service and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience required; manufacturing or semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of accounts, orders, and customer requests.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SAP and/or QuickBooks is highly desirable.
• Experience with customer portals, purchase orders, order entry, or order management strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with consignment accounts/WIP platforms is a plus.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with customers and business partners across multiple time zones.
