Title Dental hygienist Job Description Welcome patients warmly and make them feel comfortable in the treatment area Discuss dental care plans and answer patient questions with empathy and clarity Prepare and sterilize equipment for exams and procedures Accurately take and record vital signs and medical histories Perform preliminary dental exams and collect oral health histories Evaluate patients for gum disease, cavities, and other oral health issues Remove plaque, apply fluoride treatments, and perform dental cleanings Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care Create dental impressions and take x-rays as needed Assist dentists during procedures and exams Strictly adhere to health, safety, and HIPAA regulations and office policies Salary Range full-time $44 - $46 per hour - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
