Forklift OperatorForklift Operator Employment Type: Full-Time Location: West Side, Jacksonville (32219) Pay: $17.00 per hour Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM or later Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, unloading, receiving, and storing products throughout the warehouse. This position requires the ability to operate a sit-down forklift and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining accuracy and safety.Key Responsibilities:Safely operate sit-down forklifts to move and organize products throughout the warehouseUnload incoming trucks and verify products as neededLoad trucks accurately and efficiently for shipmentPick customer and warehouse orders according to established proceduresReceive incoming orders and assist with verifying quantities and productsPut away received products in designated warehouse locationsMaintain an organized and clean warehouse environmentFollow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelinesInspect products and materials for visible damage or discrepanciesAssist with general warehouse duties and other tasks as assignedRequired Qualifications:Previous warehouse or forklift operating experience preferredAbility to safely operate a sit-down forkliftAbility to load and unload trucks safely and efficientlyAbility to pick, receive, and put away orders accuratelyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse environmentAbility to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the workdayDependable attendance and punctualityAbility to follow safety procedures and instructionsPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or distribution environmentPrevious experience with order picking, receiving, shipping, or putawayFamiliarity with warehouse inventory and material-handling proceduresCore Competencies: Forklift Operation, Warehouse Operations, Loading & Unloading, Order Picking, Receiving, Putaway, Material Handling, Inventory Accuracy, Safety Awareness, Attention to Detail, Reliability, Teamwork
