BartenderAs a bartender in our legendary music and entertainment venues, you'll keep the drinks flowing and the energy high. You'll mix cocktails, pour drinks, and deliver exceptional guest service. As the ideal candidate, you're fast, friendly, and focused, understanding that in a venue with this much musical history, every shift is about delivering unforgettable experiences!Greet guests with a sincere welcome. Engage in friendly conversations to cultivate regular and repeat business.Follow recipes and established techniques to prepare drinks.Accurately fulfill orders and assist guests. Respond to guest inquiries regarding the menu, wine list, and entertainment. Suggestively sell and serve menu items, beverages, desserts, etc.Proactively address guest needs. Respond to concerns and resolve issues with a professional, positive attitude.Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance, alcohol awareness training, and company policies. Request proper ID per company policy.Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures, operate POS terminals accurately, handle payments securely, and reconcile financials at the end of the shift.Attend pre-shift meetings. Perform defined opening/running/closing duties.Maintain clean and orderly dining and service environments during and after service. Bus bar top as needed. Follow sanitation procedures required by health regulatory agencies in both public areas and back of house.Assist with inventory, product rotation and date labeling to ensure fresh products are readily available for preparation.Model company service basics. Follow all corporate policies, safety and security procedures, and brand SOPs. Promptly report accidents, facility issues, or unsafe conditions to management.Perform other duties as assigned.EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperiencePrevious bartending experience required. High-volume bar experience preferredPOS and cash handling experience requiredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesEffective interpersonal and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated team player and self-starterAble to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety-minded mannerAble to work during peak times, including evenings, weekends and holidays, to support business needsLicenses / CertificationsState Alcohol Education Card required upon hirePhysical RequirementsSpeak and hear to communicate with guests and use both near and distance vision for operating the POS system. Stand and walk for extended periods, including on uneven surfaces and while carrying items. Frequently climb stairs throughout the venue. Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and occasionally sit, kneel, bend, and reach. Manual dexterity for tasks such as using a computer.Working ConditionsRestaurant/bar/live music environments, subject to both kitchen and customer areas, with large crowds and elevated noise levels.
