Forklift, reach truck, or electric pallet jack experience is a bonus.BENEFITS:Competitive Medical, Dental, & Vision packagesEmployer paid basic life policy with competitive buy-up optionsDisability insurance401(k) with employer matchPaid Time Off (Vacation, PTO, Birthday)Paid Parental LeaveLocation: Cedartown, GaNO PHONE CALLS PLEASESUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for pulling product using equipment in any assigned areaESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Additional duties, which are necessary to carry out the functions of the Selector II, may be assigned and are incorporated by reference into this job descriptionResponsible and authorized for operating an electric pallet jack or order picker to pull product; must read the nomenclature and unit of measure of the product requested and confirm that data with the product in the bin locationResponsible for properly packing product in the sequence of pick-slipsResponsible for placing all boxes on a pallet by stop sequence where neededFollows proper guidelines to ensure that there is no damage to product during loading or shippingResponsible for placing labels containing product and customer information and load number on particular boxesResponsible for pulling bulk product and moving to the merge locationReports to work on time, as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor for the Second Shift, and completes duties in a timely mannerPerforms above listed duties in a cooperative, capable manner, processing the information as needed effectivelyResponsible for the cleanliness of area at the end of assigned shiftAll personnel within this job description shall be subject to cross-training into jobs within the organization based on Company needsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: NonePHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands of this job include light physical activity performing possible repetitive light strenuous activities of an administrative, productive and/or technical nature that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and to reach with hands or arms. The employee must be a certified and authorized electrical pallet jack operator.The employee must regularly lift 10 to 25 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in a warehouse environment.While performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently work in wet humid conditions and in outdoor weather conditions.
