RN - Med Surg

Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in post-surgical care and be comfortable working with a diverse patient population.

Unit Information

Unit: Medical/Surgical

Common Patient Diagnoses: Abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity (bariatric surgery).

Patient Demographics: Adults

Specialty Equipment: IV pumps, N/G tubes, feeding tubes

Schedule

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Note: Block scheduling is not guaranteed, and floating to other units may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC, is preferred.
• Active NY nursing license and verification through NURSYS.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license with an address matching the demographic requirements.
