The Role
- Triage, stabilize, diagnose, and treat urgent and emergent small-animal cases with a focus on timely, evidence-based care.
- Utilize in-house diagnostics and radiography to drive rapid clinical decision-making.
- Perform emergency procedures within a general surgery suite as clinically appropriate.
- Manage and monitor hospitalized patients, ensuring clear treatment plans and meticulous record-keeping.
- Communicate thoroughly and compassionately with pet owners about findings, options, and care plans.
- Collaborate with general practice colleagues and coordinate referrals to specialty care when indicated.

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Experience in emergency/urgent care or completion of a rotating internship preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, clear communication skills, and a commitment to AAHA-level standards
