AVP, Trader Location: CA – Westlake Village What You’ll Do The AVP, Trader will assist in pricing, hedging, loan trading, and securitization of AmeriHome’s non‑agency loan pipeline. The role provides an opportunity to learn non‑agency loan executions, hedging, and other capital‑markets functions while growing this production channel at the largest bank‑owned originator in the country. Trading Activities Daily rate sheet pricing Hedging the non‑agency pipeline Executing whole loan trades Trade documentation Additional Duties Monitoring the non‑agency securitization market Maintaining workflow tools Daily, weekly and monthly reporting Collaborating with operations and transaction‑management teams on trading issues Confirming trade and blotter accuracy Additional duties as assigned What You’ll Need 3+ years of related experience in Residential Mortgage Lending, Capital Markets or a similar field, or 1+ years with an advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Finance, etc.) Bachelor’s degree in a related field required Intermediate knowledge of the residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending, including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other mortgage products and services Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules, regulations, industry standards and practices Advanced Excel skills Entry‑level to intermediate SQL skills Advanced speaking and writing communication skills Compensation Salary range for new hires is generally $107,395.00 – $132,661.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary is determined by specific job location and may be eligible for annual bonus or incentives.
