POSITION SUMMARY Lead the daily operation of the Jedburg Fulfillment Center shipping function, following all policies and procedures, while conducting the business of Gerber Childrenswear, LLC efficiently and professionally. FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: Lead and support shipping team members throughout the daily operation. Assign daily work based on shipping priorities, workload, and staffing. Ensure orders are picked, packed, labeled, and shipped accurately and on time. Monitor workflow and help the team meet daily productivity goals. Verify shipping documentation, labels, quantities, and order accuracy. Coordinate priorities and resolve shipping issues or order discrepancies. Communicate with supervisors, warehouse teams, and other departments as needed. Train new team members on shipping procedures, equipment, safety, and quality expectations. Provide coaching and direction to team members when performance or quality issues arise. Ensure employees follow all warehouse safety rules and proper material-handling procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping area. Ensure equipment and workstations are used properly and report damaged or unsafe equipment. Monitor attendance, breaks, and staffing coverage during the shift. Assist with shipping and other warehouse duties when additional support is needed. Identify process problems and recommend improvements to increase safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Complete required shipping paperwork, reports, and end-of-shift communication. Communicate unfinished work, priority orders, and important issues to the next shift or supervisor. Lead by example by demonstrating teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, walk, and lift packages up to 25 lbs. POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED. 2+ years related warehouse experience, preferably in shipping Skills and Abilities Experience with Deposco system ispreferred Self- motivated, hands on, and flexible Must be able to identify problems and resolve in a timely manner; possess a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks and resources appropriately.
