Part-Time HR Specialist
Position Type: Part-Time, In-Person
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:45 AM – 2:00 PM
*Additional hours may be required and requested by management as business needs arise. Extended schedules may include start times of 6:45 AM, 7:45 AM, or 8:45 AM.
Position Overview
We are seeking a professional, organized, and people-focused Part-Time HR Specialist to support our growing team. This position plays a key role in recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and daily HR operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, approachable, and capable of handling confidential information with professionalism. This is an in-person position and requires regular onsite attendance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Posting job openings and managing job advertisements across hiring platforms
- Reviewing applications and screening potential candidates
- Scheduling and conducting first-round interviews alongside the hiring manager
- Coordinating second-round and follow-up interviews with our upper management team
- Preparing and sending job offers to selected candidates
- Managing onboarding paperwork and employee documentation
- Conducting new hire orientations
- Delivering HR announcements during daily shift huddles as needed
- Maintaining records related to attendance, call-outs, tardiness, employee warnings, and potential bonuses
- Meeting with team members regularly or as needed regarding attendance, performance, and HR-related matters
- Assisting with planning and organizing company events, including:
- Quarterly manager socials
- Biannual company-wide team member events
- Supporting additional HR and administrative functions as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous HR, recruiting, administrative, or office experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with email, scheduling, and online job platforms
- Dependable, proactive, and detail-oriented
Physical & Work Requirements:
- Ability to work onsite daily
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management throughout the workday
- Flexibility to work extended morning hours when requested by management
