HyOx Medical Treatment Center in Marietta, GA is looking for an experienced Patient Care Coordinator who already knows how to run a busy medical front office — and does it well. This is not an entry-level desk job. We want a seasoned professional who can own scheduling, insurance, authorizations, and patient flow while making every patient feel genuinely cared for from the moment they walk in.
If you've worked in a hyperbaric, wound care, or specialty clinic, we especially want to hear from you. You already understand this world, and you'll hit the ground running.
What You'll Own:
- Greet and check patients in and out — you set the tone for the entire visit
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and hyperbaric treatment sessions
- Verify insurance and benefits, and manage prior authorizations start to finish
- Keep patient records accurate and current in the EMR
- Answer high-volume phones, route calls, and handle patient questions with professionalism
- Collect copays and safeguard front-end revenue accuracy
- Coordinate patient flow between the front desk and the clinical team
- Manage referrals, records requests, and follow-up communication
- Keep the front office and waiting area organized, welcoming, and running smoothly
- De-escalate and resolve difficult patient situations with patience and professionalism
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of medical front office / patient coordination experience — required
- Strong insurance verification and prior authorization experience
- Confidence with EMR systems, scheduling, and high-volume phones
- Sharp attention to detail and strong organization under pressure
- Warm, professional, people-first communication style
- Proven reliability and a track record of tenure — not a job-hopper
- Ability to juggle patients, phones, and tasks without dropping the ball
What Truly Sets You Apart:
- Hyperbaric (HBOT) or wound care clinic experience — this is what we're really hoping to find. If you've worked in this specialty, you move to the top of our list.
- Multi-specialty background (cardiology, neurology, GI, surgical, etc.) — you adapt fast
- Experience with RXNT or similar EMR systems
- Charge posting and revenue-cycle familiarity
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Compensation & Schedule:
- $18–$22/hour based on experience — top of range for candidates with specialty/HBOT experience
