Ideal Experience & Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Skilled in pediatric communication disorders, school-based therapy, and healthcare settings
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and technology, or willingness to be trained
• Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
• Passion for supporting students in achieving their communication potential
• SLPAs are not eligible at this time

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy, assessments, and individualized interventions for students across various grade levels
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with school and regulatory requirements
• Utilize in-person and teletherapy methods thoughtfully and effectively, based on student needs
• Offer mentorship and guidance for Clinical Fellows as appropriate
• Participate in school-related meetings, student progress reviews, and professional development sessions
