Occupational Therapist

Schedule: 8-hour shifts

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 14 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist
• Proof of current CPR certification
• Current driver's license
• Reliable transportation and insurance
• Two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical assessments and identify patient needs.
• Document and develop individualized patient care plans.
• Assess and facilitate direct therapeutic interventions to improve patient occupational performance.
• Evaluate and modify the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate patient information to appropriate healthcare professionals.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must meet mandatory continuing education requirements.
• Promote compliance with fiscal intermediaries and other third-party payers.
• Adhere to infection control and universal precautions in all patient care activities.
