Overview Provide service that invites interaction with our guests by creating orders as requested and educating guests about our menu. Ensure the restaurant is clean and inviting to guests at all times; live the brand values and make the brand thrive. Responsibilities Acknowledge, engage and interact with guests and fellow team members; anticipate and exceed guests’ needs with a positive attitude and genuine care. Engage guests in the dining room through table visits; be confident yet open to asking for support. Bus dining room areas during peak volume periods; take ownership of personal accountability and service quality. Ring orders accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system; ensure order accuracy and efficiency. Receive cash and credit card payments and issue receipts or change as needed; manage cash handling with accuracy and security. Address guest needs and concerns related to hospitality and service; welcome new team members and support the team as needed. Be dependable and reliable; contribute to a positive team environment. Environment and Service Standards Create an environment that showcases handcrafted preparation and presentation. Communicate effectively and positively with guests and team members. Prepare and maintain guest orders as requested, ensuring accuracy of each order; hold teammates accountable for quality. Suggest appropriate flavor combinations and menu options to enhance the guest experience. Serving the Guest Pay careful attention to the presentation of food and service; make each guest feel welcome and appreciated. Maintain cleanliness of the service line, restrooms, equipment, and dining areas; anticipate guests’ needs and engage in conversations to enhance guest experience. Proactively share enthusiasm for food and flavor exploration with guests. Preparing Food and Ingredients Prepare, create, and maintain food according to approved recipes, proper portioning, and food prep logs/tools; ensure quality, consistency and safety. Replenish food in serving stations and holding areas; maintain cleanliness and organization. Learn, apply what you learn, and share knowledge to improve service and food quality.
