What You'll Do

• Provide emergency care at a busy hospital emergency department with an average of 110 patients in 24 hours
• Manage a diverse patient caseload independently during scheduled shifts
• Collaborate with ER staff, nurses, and specialists to deliver timely patient care
• Follow hospital protocols and ensure accurate documentation
• Maintain patient safety and uphold high standards of care in a fast-paced environment
• Participate in quality improvement and hospital initiatives as needed

What You Need

Required:

• Active California medical license
• BC or BE in Emergency Medicine within 5 years
• ABEM or ABEOM certification (not ABIM/ABFM)
• Minimum of 2 years current hospital clinical activity in emergency medicine
• Ability to work night shifts exclusively

Preferred:

• Previous experience in high-volume ERs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to shift changes
