Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and needs. Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based interventions to address specific issues faced by clients. Implement effective psychotherapy techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy, ensuring optimal client outcomes. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records while complying with relevant laws and ethical standards. Engage in collaborative consultations with our dedicated treatment team to create a holistic approach to client care. Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families, guiding them through the mental health care process. Stay informed of advancements in mental health research and practices to continually improve service delivery. Patient Population / Client Focus Our practice focuses on a diverse patient population, including individuals struggling with various mental health conditions such as PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, and relationship issues. You will work with clients from varied backgrounds, ensuring that each interaction is approached with cultural competence and sensitivity to their unique experiences. Qualifications Must possess a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. Hold a valid LCSW license in the state of Illinois. A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is required. Demonstrated proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage clients and colleagues. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability to navigate complex clinical situations successfully. Ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment, contributing positively to team dynamics. Preferred Experience Experience with trauma-informed care practices. Previous experience working in outpatient settings is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client information efficiently. Training in specific therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is advantageous.
