Senior Civil Engineer

SRK Consulting is an independent, international consulting practice, providing globally integrated consulting services to the international mining and metals sector. We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer. Responsibilities Execution and technical oversight of civil design for mine waste and water engineering projects Active engagement and responsibility for business development Project management of technical deliverables, budgets, and schedules Oversight of conceptual through detailed design and permitting Preparation and review of supporting engineering calculations, models, methods Interface with clients and complete site visits / inspections as necessary Active engagement in development and/or advancement of SRK’s engineering practice Active engagement in mentorship of junior staffOther duties as required A bachelor’s degree in civil, geotechnical, mining engineering, or a related engineering discipline Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or ability to obtain registration within Minimum 10 years’ experience in the mining industry or in a civil or geotechnical engineering position Ability and desire to collaborate with other technical specialists in mining, geochemistry, geotechnics, groundwater and environmental disciplines in a team-oriented environment Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills Proficiency in civil engineering design software and methodologies. Preferred Skills and Qualifications Masters degree in civil engineering, or a related engineering discipline Experience in professional consulting services preferred Benefits An attractive compensation package.
