We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician with facility maintenance skills for our commercial properties at Westgate Village Shopping Center in Toledo Ohio to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of our facilities. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing a wide range of technical maintenance tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your light mechanical, light electrical, and facilities maintenance skills in a setting that values innovation, teamwork and self-motivation.

Responsibilities:

• Complete assigned work and repair orders as assigned in a timely fashion
• Estimate time and extent of repairs
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Maintain material and supply inventory
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
• Do property upkeep by mowing lawn, weeding, snow removal, property trash removal and pressure washing

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Familiarity with light electrical
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented
